Why did my YouTube view count jump but my YPP eligibility didn’t change?

A jump in the visible view count doesn't always change YPP progress one-for-one. YouTube treats public views, engaged views, and YPP-qualified views differently, and Realtime is only an estimate. Check the Earn tab rather than the public counter, then give it time to settle. YPP also looks at the relevant qualified-view or watch-hour window, plus subscriber and policy/account requirements, so a video can spike while eligibility stays put.
