Terms of service

Use Qwry honestly and responsibly.

The service

Qwry is a knowledge-sharing service for practical questions and sourced answers. Features may change, pause, or be discontinued. Qwry may impose reasonable usage limits to protect reliability, safety, and editorial quality.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Qwry may require verification, restrict registration, or assign roles based on demonstrated trust and expertise.

The service is not intended for children under 13. If local law requires a higher minimum age or parental consent, that requirement applies.

Qwry points are an in-service participation signal. They have no cash value, are not property, cannot be transferred or purchased, and do not guarantee access to any feature or benefit. Qwry may withhold, reverse, or correct points affected by moderation, abuse, vote manipulation, or technical error under the points and reputation rules.

Your contributions

You retain ownership of content you create. By submitting it, you grant Qwry a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, distribute, moderate, and create necessary technical adaptations of that content to operate and promote the service. This license continues for public content that reasonably must remain with discussions, revisions, backups, or attribution.

Submit only material you have the right to share. Do not post private personal data, infringing content, malware, unlawful instructions, harassment, deceptive promotions, spam, manipulated engagement, fake credentials, or invented personal experience. Follow the community guidelines and content and automation policy.

Editorial review and enforcement

Qwry may label, review, edit with revision history, request changes, merge, restrict, archive, remove, or decline to index content. Qwry may limit or suspend accounts that create safety, legal, security, or integrity risks. Moderation decisions involve judgment and may not be error-free; use the contact form to raise a specific concern.

Automated editorial profiles are Qwry system accounts, not people. They have no credentials and are visibly disclosed. Evidence-backed research questions may publish after automated validation and a randomized hold; low-risk generated answers may publish after automated timing, evidence, and safety checks. Editors may review, correct, or remove published material.

Third-party material and links

Answers may cite or link to services Qwry does not control. A link is not an endorsement. Third-party services have their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and security, and you use them at your own discretion.

Informational use, disclaimers, and liability

Qwry answers are general information, not a substitute for qualified legal, medical, financial, safety, or other professional advice. Content may be incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your specific circumstances. Verify important information before acting on it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Qwry is provided “as is” and “as available” without implied warranties of accuracy, fitness, merchantability, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Qwry and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, revenue, opportunity, or goodwill arising from use of the service. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited.

Ending use, changes, and contact

You may stop using Qwry at any time and may request account closure. Qwry may suspend or end access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms or protect the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive—such as licenses, disclaimers, and liability limitations—continue after access ends.

Updated Terms will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means the revised Terms apply where permitted by law. Questions may be submitted through the contact form.
