Why didn’t my YouTube podcast episode update after I replaced its audio in my RSS feed?

Replacing the audio file in your RSS feed won’t update the YouTube episode that’s already live. New episodes can be uploaded from the feed automatically, but an existing RSS-ingested episode is still a published YouTube video, so its audio can’t be swapped in place. In YouTube Studio, go to Content > Podcasts, open that podcast’s Videos list, find the episode, and choose Re-upload from RSS feed. YouTube creates a new video for the updated audio and makes the old one private, so check the new video’s visibility and details afterward. The old private video keeps its existing views and comments.
