Why does TikTok say my video is under review after I post it?

It usually means TikTok has sent that post to its Trust and Safety review, not that your account is automatically in trouble. TikTok says this can happen right when you upload, after a post picks up, or after someone reports it. Check Inbox > System notifications > Account updates for a decision, then check TikTok Studio > Account check if you think there’s an account or feature restriction too. If TikTok removes the post or marks it ineligible for For You, use the appeal option shown on that decision if you think it’s wrong. I wouldn’t delete/repost or try workaround tricks while it’s still pending.
