It’s usually a cache split: your logged-in request bypasses the public page cache, while logged-out visitors are still getting an older cached homepage. WordPress sets a logged-in cookie, and caching setups commonly treat that as a reason to send you to the live origin instead of the guest cache. Start by checking the homepage in a private window, then purge that exact URL everywhere it can be cached: the WordPress cache plugin, host/server cache, and CDN. Don’t just clear your own browser. Afterward, compare the response headers while logged out; with Cloudflare, `CF-Cache-Status` is especially useful for seeing whether it’s a HIT, MISS, BYPASS, or DYNAMIC response. If the HTML is fresh but the page still looks old, purge or version the CSS/JS/image asset too. Also make sure the homepage cache is cleared automatically when you update it, otherwise this will keep coming back after the next edit.
