Why does GA4 show $0 revenue only for purchase orders over $1,000?

A clean $1,000 cutoff usually means the value is getting formatted differently before it reaches GA4, not that GA4 has a $1,000 revenue rule. Compare a working $999 order with a failing $1,001 order in Tag Assistant or the final GA4 request. The purchase event’s event-level `value` needs to be a plain number like `1250` or `1250.50`, not `"1,250"` or `$1,250`; it also needs event-level `currency`, `transaction_id`, and `items`. Make sure the tag is reading the same fields for both orders, and that `value` is the sum of item price × quantity, excluding shipping and tax. After fixing it, run a fresh test purchase and allow roughly a day for the standard reports to update.
