Why do my GA4 events appear in DebugView but not in Realtime?

If it’s in DebugView but not Realtime, the first thing I’d check is Admin > Data filters. An active Developer traffic exclusion removes events sent in debug mode from normal reports while still letting you use DebugView, so that setup is intentional.
If there’s no active filter, make sure you’re in the same property and web/app stream, clear any Realtime comparison, and check Event count by Event name instead of only the active-user card. Realtime normally updates within seconds, but Google notes that occasional delays can happen and app events may batch for minutes. Test once without `debug_mode` from the same measurement ID before assuming the event setup is broken.
